Buenaventura Senior Men's Golf Club ScholarshipThe Buenaventura Senior Men’s Golf Club is offering a $1000 scholarship to assist a student to attend a four-year university or community college.
Qualifications: The applicant must be a high school senior who is planning to attend a community college or four year university. He/she must be actively involved in the high school golf program and have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Only the following area high schools are eligible for this program: Buena, Adolfo Camarillo, Channel Islands, Foothill, Oxnard, Pacifica, Hueneme, Rio Mesa, Santa Clara, St. Bonaventure, and Ventura H.S.
Requirements: A short essay MUST be attached (400 words or less) describing yourself, your interests, your school and community activities, your future plans and your financial needs. Please include any special circumstances or hardship in your essay. The essay is a major component of the scholarship consideration.
